Exemestane

Also known as Aromasin (an AI).

What it is
A steroidal (suicidal) aromatase inhibitor — it permanently disables the aromatase enzyme rather than competing with it like anastrozole.
Used for
Used to manage estrogen from aromatizing compounds; less associated with a rebound than non-steroidal AIs.
Handling
Oral tablet; room temperature.
Watch for
Still possible to over-suppress estrogen — bloodwork guides dosing. Crashed E2 has real side effects.
